Dylan Thomas Prize - Shortlist Announced

It’s one of the highest paying literary awards in the world, and yesterday, the shortlist for the £60,000 Dylan Thomas Prize was announced. The six listed were selected from a 16-strong longlist that was unveiled in July.

The award is open globally and has been designed to encourage talented new writers under the age of 30.

Peter Florence, chair of judges said that they are "confident that this will be a vintage" and that the shortlist will "produce a winner worthy of Dylan Thomas"
